Filter Plant Design

Bastin Logan Water Services, Inc. (BLWSI) has pilot plant equipment to perform a field water filtration pilot study to determine what filter equipment and chemical feed equipment would be best suited for a new water supply application. The pilot plant is trailer mounted and includes aeration, detention and two (2) filters capable of a flow rate of 100-200 GPM. This field pilot study equipment determines the type of media required (and the head loss of each) and chemical feed requirements to provide the highest effluent water quality. This testing is all performed before a water treatment plant is fully designed.
